Video Editor

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into polished video content that aligns with our brand, communicates our message effectively, and captivates our audience. You should have a keen eye for storytelling, pacing, visual composition, and sound design.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, website, advertisements, etc.)
Work closely with the creative team, content producers, and marketing teams to understand project goals and target audience
Add music, graphics, voice-overs, and special effects to enhance video quality and storytelling
Optimize video content for different platforms and formats (4:5, 16:9, 9:16, etc.)
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions
Manage and organize media assets and backup files properly
Stay updated with industry trends, editing techniques, and social media best practices

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a video editor (portfolio or demo reel required)
Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
Familiarity with motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., After Effects)
Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and exporting
Excellent sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
Strong communication and time-management skills
Attention to detail and creative flair

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

Experience with color grading, sound mixing, and green screen editing
Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Experience working with brands, marketing campaigns, or social media influencers
Knowledge of scriptwriting and storyboarding.
