Field Auditor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Field Auditor to join our team and conduct thorough audits across various company branches, franchises, and field operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, identifying operational inefficiencies, detecting risks or fraud, and recommending improvements to strengthen internal controls and maintain process integrity. This role involves extensive travel to multiple locations and requires close collaboration with different departments to support the company’s overall governance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular field audits at branches, retail outlets, and operational units to assess compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Verify financial records, inventory management, cash handling procedures, and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing internal controls and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
- Investigate discrepancies, potential fraud, or procedural lapses, ensuring all findings are documented accurately and comprehensively.
- Prepare detailed audit reports that include observations, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations for management.
- Follow up on audit findings to confirm that corrective actions have been implemented effectively and timely.
- Coordinate with operations, finance, and compliance teams throughout the audit process to facilitate smooth communication and resolution of issues.
- Stay informed about updates to company policies and industry audit standards to ensure audits remain relevant and effective.
- Travel extensively to various locations to perform audits and engage with diverse operational environments.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Between 2 to 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably with exposure to field or retail audits.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment methodologies, and audit procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and ERP systems is preferred to support data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and observational skills, with the ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently for field audits across multiple locations.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) are advantageous but not mandatory.
- This is a full-time position offering a starting salary from Rs 50,000 per month.
