Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to support accurate financial forecasting and planning.
- Collaborate closely with growth, supply chain, and operations teams to forecast product margins, sales volumes, overhead costs, and free cash flow.
- Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual financial results against budgets and forecasts, identifying and explaining the reasons behind any deviations.
- Analyze key business drivers such as seasonality, pricing and margin fluctuations, and outlet productivity to generate actionable insights for decision-making.
- Design and track performance metrics for growth, supply chain, and operations teams, ensuring timely follow-up on critical initiatives.
- Assist the founding team in developing strategic financial plans that connect top-line growth projections with working capital, infrastructure needs, and profitability targets.
- Perform scenario modeling, cohort analysis, and other in-depth analyses to address important business questions and support strategic decisions.
- Partner with the Accounting team to reconcile actual financial data, support monthly reporting, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Manage cash forecasting tools to maintain clear visibility of short-term liquidity and funding requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualifications such as CMA or ACCA.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or in a high-growth startup environment.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High ethical standards and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience with SQL is considered an advantage.
