Azure Cloud Architect

We are looking for a dynamic professional with expertise in both Power BI development and Azure cloud architecture to deliver comprehensive data solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for creating advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations while leveraging Azure cloud platforms to design scalable and secure data architectures, including SaaS-based solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful data insights, build cloud-based solutions, and drive business transformation through innovative approaches.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects with the potential for a contract extension based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Power BI Development:

Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports, including advanced visualizations such as map visualizations, to provide actionable insights.
Use DAX and Power Query to clean, transform, and model data for analysis.
Integrate data from diverse sources, such as Excel, SQL databases, and other business systems, ensuring seamless reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored Power BI solutions aligned with business goals.

Azure Cloud Architecture & SaaS Solutions:

Architect and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure platforms to support robust and scalable data systems.
Design and implement SaaS-based architectures to ensure efficient deployment, scalability, and multi-tenancy capabilities.
Design full-stack architectures that incorporate UI/UX, middle tier, and persistence layers.
Develop and deploy REST APIs for data access and integration.
Apply software design patterns such as Multi-tier, Microservices, and Event-driven architectures to design innovative systems.
Ensure cloud and SaaS solutions adhere to best practices in security, scalability, and performance optimization.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Power BI development, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
Hands-on expertise in advanced Power BI visualizations, including map visualizations.
Proven 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and development, particularly with Azure platforms and SaaS solutions.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, software design patterns, and cloud architecture principles.
Excellent English communication skills at a TOEFL Level 7 or above (both written and verbal).
Confident, presentable, and able to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Familiarity with tools in the Microsoft BI suite, including Excel and Power Pivot.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in Power BI, Microsoft Data Analytics, or Azure solutions.
Experience in optimizing both Power BI reports and cloud-based/SaaS architectures for performance.
Background working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
