We are currently seeking a Fit Out Project Manager to lead multi-disciplined real estate projects for a multinational banking client, focusing on commercial offices and retail branches. This role involves managing complex projects from planning through to closeout, ensuring delivery aligns with client expectations and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of project management including programme, budget, quality, scope, procurement, and risk management for retail banking projects. This encompasses planning, design, construction, occupancy, and project closeout phases. Oversee day-to-day project delivery activities to ensure alignment with client goals and project objectives. Develop client briefs and Project Execution Plans tailored to specific project needs. Manage internal and external design teams to deliver design solutions that meet client expectations and budget requirements. Coordinate with local government authorities to obtain necessary approvals, supporting consultants and contractors throughout the process. Administer complex contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions by contractors and consultants. Assist in preparing tender documents, reviewing submissions, negotiating contracts, awarding contracts, and reporting progress to clients. Develop comprehensive project documentation, including programmes and master cost plans, with support from cost management teams. Produce weekly project status reports and other deliverables aligned with project milestones. Deliver projects within agreed risk, sustainability, and environmental frameworks while maintaining focus on time, cost, and quality. Monitor and report contractor progress against contract schedules. Manage consultant teams to ensure design and construction compliance with contract requirements. Collaborate closely with clients to manage expectations and maintain strong communication. Oversee schedules, budgets, and change orders initiated by clients or contractors. Travel as required to ensure project delivery assurance. Maintain ownership of project management tools, ensuring accuracy and completeness of project data. Utilize cloud-based project management software for reporting and documentation. Participate in PMO governance, assurance, and performance trend oversight within the cluster. Manage third-party project delivery resources, typically a smaller team, tracking performance and motivating team members.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field from a reputable local or international university. A minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience in real estate or construction. Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) qualification is preferred.
