SEO Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SEO Specialist to join our growing team.The Ideal candidate should have at least 6-8 years of experience in developing and executing successful SEO and marketing strategies.

As an SEO specialist you'll identify strategies, techniques and tactics to increase the number of visitors to a website and obtain a high-ranking placement in the results page of search engines. By generating more leads for the business you'll open up new opportunities for driving growth and profit.

This type of work may be referred to as content marketing or conversion rate optimization work and you may instead have the job title of online marketer or digital account executive.

Responsibilities for SEO Specialist

Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings
program in HTML, CSS and JavaScript to ensure the site is accessible and easy to follow and for increased interaction with visitors - this may involve working on video and PDFs
run pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to increase revenue through sponsored online advertising
write original content for webpages - tailored for the target audience
Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materials
Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts
Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
Efficiently communicate with other marketing professionals to align goals
Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy
Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions
Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings

Qualifications for SEO Specialist

Proven 8+ years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, etc.)
Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis
Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plus
