Full Stack Developer (Devops)

This long-term contract opportunity based in Malaysia offers a critical role in the development and enhancement of a data portal hosted on the AWS platform. The successful candidate will focus on building and maintaining the front-end interface while ensuring the overall solution remains secure, stable, cost-effective, and scalable. Collaboration with architects to establish and uphold guidelines and standards for the data portal is a key aspect of the role. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining automated pipelines that provision technical products through Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The position requires strict adherence to DevSecOps principles and continuous interaction with users to drive ongoing improvements to the data platform.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the front-end of the data portal using Angular.
- Design and implement secure, stable, cost-effective, and scalable data and analytics solutions on AWS.
- Collaborate closely with architects to define and enforce guidelines and standards for the data portal.
- Build and maintain automated pipelines for provisioning technical products using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Ensure compliance with DevSecOps principles and standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Engage regularly with users to gather feedback and drive continuous improvements to the data platform.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in front-end development using Angular.
- At least 3 years of strong proficiency with AWS Cloud services.
- Extensive experience in automation, version control, DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Runners.
- A solid software development background with a minimum of 8 years’ experience, including at least 5 years working with Python.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, prioritizing team success over individual achievements.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience practicing DevOps methodologies.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite in Malaysia, with reliable commuting arrangements or relocation plans in place before starting.

Contract Details
- Contract Duration: 12 months
- Employment Type: Contract, onsite in Malaysia
- Salary Range: Rs600,000 to Rs1,133,000 per month
