Full-Stack Shopify Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled full-stack developer with strong expertise in Shopify, Node.js, and either the MEAN or MERN stack to join our growing e-commerce business. This full-time remote position operates on a UK-based schedule and involves maintaining and enhancing our Shopify storefront, integrating third-party services and APIs, and supporting internal operational tools built on modern JavaScript frameworks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing both front-end and back-end development tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and customize the existing Shopify storefront using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Develop and expand custom features for Shopify Markets, including multi-region and multi-currency support. Integrate and manage third-party applications and APIs such as payment gateways, shipping services, CRM, and analytics tools. Oversee and optimize backend tools built with Node.js and MongoDB. Build and maintain user interfaces and internal dashboards using React or Angular frameworks. Synchronize data between Shopify and backend systems, including order processing, pricing, and tagging. Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code to ensure maintainability. Collaborate closely with UK-based team members to understand business requirements and deliver timely solutions.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Shopify development. Strong proficiency with Liquid templating language, Shopify Admin API, and Storefront API. Solid back-end development skills using Node.js and MongoDB. Experience in building single-page applications or admin tools with React or Angular. Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations. Ability to independently manage deployments, troubleshoot issues, and handle full-stack responsibilities. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good spoken and written English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working with Shopify Markets, including multi-currency and multi-region setups, is a plus.
