The Sales Executive at Future Designz is responsible for driving sales of a wide range of tiles and related products by providing exceptional customer service, expert product knowledge, and design guidance to clients. This role involves understanding customer needs, showcasing suitable tile solutions, preparing accurate quotations, and ensuring a smooth sales process from inquiry to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement & Sales:
    • Greet and assist customers walking into the showroom, creating a welcoming and engaging environment.
    • Understand customer requirements, preferences, and project scope through effective questioning and active listening.
    • Present and demonstrate the features, benefits, and applications of various tile types (e.g., porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, elevation tiles), designs, and finishes.
    • Guide customers through the selection process, offering design advice and helping them visualize how tiles will look in their space.
    • Upsell and cross-sell related products (e.g., adhesives, grouts, sanitary items, accessories) where appropriate.
    • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Quotation & Order Management:
    • Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations based on customer selections and project specifications.
    • Follow up on quotations promptly to convert leads into sales.
    • Process sales orders, ensuring all details are correct, including product codes, quantities, pricing, and delivery instructions.
    • Coordinate with the logistics/warehouse team for timely order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Product Knowledge & Market Awareness:
    • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all tiles and related products offered by Future Designz, including technical specifications, pricing, and availability.
    • Stay updated on current tile industry trends, design aesthetics, and competitor offerings.
    • Participate in product training sessions provided by the company or suppliers.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, including homeowners, interior designers, architects, and contractors.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and efficiently to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Gather customer feedback to help improve product offerings and service quality.
  • Showroom Presentation:
    • Ensure tile displays are clean, well-organized, accurately priced, and visually appealing.
    • Assist in maintaining the overall tidiness and presentation of the showroom.
    • Report any damaged displays or missing samples to the Showroom Manager.
  • Reporting & Administration:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports as required by management.
    • Process payments and maintain petty cash if required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. A diploma or certification in sales, marketing, interior design, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in tiles, sanitary ware, building materials, home decor, or a related retail environment.
  • Knowledge:
    • Basic understanding of interior design principles and color coordination.
    • Familiarity with different types of tiles, their applications, and installation considerations.
    • Knowledge of local market trends in building materials and interior finishes in Lahore.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong customer service orientation with a professional and friendly demeanor.
    • Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
    • Goal-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
    • Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Presentable and well-groomed.
