Exhibition Designer

Our organization is seeking a talented exhibition designer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for creating engaging and immersive exhibition experiences, with a strong understanding of design principles and techniques. They will be responsible for developing and executing exhibition concepts and designs that reflect our organization's mission and values, while engaging visitors and promoting learning. The ideal candidate will have experience designing theatres, catwalks, and commercial spaces.

Responsibilities:

Create detailed exhibition designs, including floor plans, elevations, and renderings, using 2D and 3D software.
Select materials and finishes that reflect the exhibition theme and enhance the visitor experience.
Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Manage the fabrication and installation of exhibition components, including overseeing contractors and fabricators.
Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and advertising campaigns to promote exhibitions.
Conduct research on new design trends and emerging technologies in the field of exhibition design.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in exhibition design, industrial design, interior design, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in exhibition design, with a portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of design principles and techniques.
Experience designing theaters, catwalks, and commercial spaces.
Proficiency in 2D and 3D software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and schedules.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of fabrication techniques and materials used in exhibition design.
Familiarity with emerging technologies in the field of exhibition design, such as virtual reality and interactive displays.
