We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling travel bookings across various platforms, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting clients with their travel needs from inquiry to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle flight, hotel, and package bookings using multiple GDS platforms (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo).
Create and customize holiday and travel packages based on client preferences and budget.
Communicate professionally with clients in English via WhatsApp, email, phone calls, Skype, and in person.
Respond promptly to travel inquiries, providing accurate information and recommendations.
Work with various hotel vendors and travel partners to secure competitive rates and availability.
Maintain detailed knowledge of destinations, travel regulations, and current trends.
Ensure all bookings are accurate and complete, and manage changes, cancellations, and special requests.
Collaborate with team members to provide seamless service and support.
Maintain a high standard of punctuality, professionalism, and customer care.
Requirements:
Proven experience in travel booking and customer service roles.
Proficiency in at least one GDS system (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo).
Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of global travel destinations and industry practices.
Tech-savvy with the ability to use communication tools like WhatsApp, Skype, and email professionally.
Punctual, reliable, and committed to delivering the best customer experience.
Preferred:
Prior experience in holiday and group package creation.
Experience with hotel booking platforms and third-party vendors.
Multilingual abilities are a plus.
