We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Manager to join our team of UK based recruitment agency. This is a home-based position and flexible in hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing strategies. You will be responsible for developing and managing multiple social media accounts, creating engaging content, and driving audience interaction across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Oversee and manage social media accounts across multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance company presence and drive engagement.
  • Monitor and analyse social media performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports and insights.

Content Creation:

  • Create and curate high-quality content, including graphics, posters, and videos, that align with the company’s voice and objectives.
  • Develop a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and timely delivery of content.
  • Write compelling copy for social media posts, captions, and hashtags to maximize engagement.

Creative Design:

  • Design visually appealing posters, banners, and other digital assets using graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
  • Edit videos for social media platforms, ensuring they are optimized for each platform's specifications and audience preferences.

Digital Marketing & SEO:

  • Utilize Google Trends and other tools to identify trending topics and keywords for content creation.
  • Implement SEO best practices, including the use of alt text for images and keyword optimization, to enhance visibility on search engines.
  • Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends and algorithm changes to adjust strategies accordingly.

Community Engagement:

  • Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and nurture relationships with followers, influencers, and potential customers.
  • Manage and moderate discussions, ensuring a positive and inclusive online environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably within a recruitment agency.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Proficient in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) and video editing tools.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with Google Trends, SEO practices, and hashtag strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content and engagement.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in developing and managing multiple social media accounts simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Buffer.
  • Basic understanding of paid social media advertising.
