We are looking for a detail-oriented Lead Generation Specialist to join our team. The role involves identifying potential leads, gathering insights into target audiences, and compiling a list of email contacts to drive our email marketing campaigns. This position is key in building our customer base, targeting new prospects, and helping us grow through personalized and data-driven email outreach.

You will be responsible for sourcing relevant emails of decision-makers and businesses in the skincare, beauty, and wellness industries, as well as conducting market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research & Audience Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough research to identify target audience segments within the skincare, beauty, and wellness industries.

    • Analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activities to understand market opportunities.

    • Develop customer personas based on research insights to guide targeted email marketing campaigns.

  2. Lead Generation:

    • Source and gather email addresses of potential leads, including individuals and companies in the relevant industry sectors.

    • Utilize tools like LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Hunter.io, Clearbit, and social media platforms to find accurate contact information.

    • Build and maintain an up-to-date database of high-quality leads with email contact information.

  3. Email List Management:

    • Segment email lists based on demographic data, behavioral insights, and other relevant criteria to enhance targeting accuracy.

    • Ensure that the email database is clean, up-to-date, and compliant with GDPR and other privacy regulations.

  4. Collaboration with Marketing Team:

    • Work closely with the email marketing team to align lead generation efforts with email marketing campaigns.

    • Provide data-driven insights to help create highly targeted and personalized email content.

    • Assist in identifying the most valuable segments of customers to maximize email marketing ROI.

  5. Reporting & Analytics:

    • Track and report on the effectiveness of lead generation efforts and email list growth.

    • Monitor open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates of email campaigns that use the generated leads.

    • Provide recommendations for improving email marketing performance based on lead quality and research findings.

  6. Staying Current with Market Trends:

    • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices for both market research and email marketing.

    • Regularly assess new tools or technologies to improve lead generation efforts.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in market research, lead generation, or email marketing (preferably in the beauty, skincare, or e-commerce industry).

  • Research Skills: Strong ability to source and analyze market data from a variety of platforms, including online databases, social media, and business directories.

  • Email List Building: Experience with tools like Hunter.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clearbit, and other platforms for finding business contact information.

  • Data Management: Proficiency in organizing, cleaning, and segmenting email databases for targeted outreach.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to reach out to leads in a professional manner.

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo).

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately collect and verify email addresses and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.

Preferred Skills:

  • GDPR Knowledge: Familiarity with data privacy laws such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM to ensure compliant lead generation.

  • Email Marketing Tools: Experience using email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or Constant Contact to help manage email campaigns once the leads are sourced.

  • SEO or SEM: Knowledge of search engine marketing or optimization could be beneficial for targeting the right keywords and industries.

  • Social Media Research: Proficiency in utilizing social media platforms like LinkedIn to gather data about potential leads.
