We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Mechanical Supervisor to oversee our mechanical operations and maintenance activities in our beverage production facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the mechanical maintenance team to ensure timely and effective execution of maintenance tasks and repairs.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to ensure optimal performance and reliability of machinery and equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
Diagnose complex mechanical problems, troubleshoot equipment failures, and implement appropriate corrective actions to minimize downtime and production disruptions.
Lead root cause analysis investigations for equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive measures to prevent recurrence.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
Collaborate with other departments, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless coordination of activities and alignment with organizational goals.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Mentor and train mechanical technicians to enhance their skills, knowledge, and capabilities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years proven experience as a mechanical supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
Strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment used in beverage production processes.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve high performance standards.
Proficient in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles, and predictive maintenance techniques.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet production targets and deadlines.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
