Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation and Setup:

Assist in preparing the operating room for hair transplant procedures, ensuring cleanliness and proper organization.
Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies required for the procedure.
Ensure adequate lighting, positioning of surgical chairs, and setup of video monitoring if applicable.

Patient Preparation:

Greet and escort patients to the operating room, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns.
Help patients are settled on the surgical chair or table and provide any necessary draping.
Assist with local anaesthesia administration, if needed.

Sterile Procedures:

Adhere to strict aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
Assist with gowning and gloving the surgical team to prevent contamination.
Handle sterile instruments, supplies, and implantation tools as required.

Instrumentation and Equipment:

Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon and medical team during the procedure.
Monitor equipment functionality and alert the surgical team to any issues that arise.
Assist with the setup and operation of specialized hair transplant equipment, such as microscopes or implanters.

Dissection, Loading and Placing:

Compulsory participation in dissection, loading & placing in all surgeries planned for the day.
Supervision of trainees of during dissection, loading and placing
