This is a full-time remote role for a VoIP Support Engineer. The VoIP Support Engineer will be responsible for, troubleshooting and providing technical customer support for PBX and unified communication solutions. The Engineer will also be responsible for ensuring top-notch customer service to international clients.

This is a home-based role, and a personal computer/laptop and high-speed internet is mandatory. Candidate must be able to listen and speak English fluently. References may be required if necessary.

Qualifications:

  •  Minimum of 1 year of experience in VoIP support
  •  good understanding in Linux OS (CentOS/Redhat), VoIP, and SIP protocols
  •  Familiarity with open-source VoIP solutions such as, Freeswitch, Asterisk and Kamailio.
  •  Proficient in troubleshooting using tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.
  •  Understanding of unified communication terminology.
  •  Solid understanding of networking concepts and Microsoft teams
  •  Strong troubleshooting skills.
  •  Good knowledge of MySQL database.
  •  Excellent communication skills and problem-solving attitude
  •  Experience in client support and taking customer calls.
  •  Willingness to work in shifts and rota.
  •  Shifts will be 10:30PM to 06:00AM and 06:00 AM to 02:00 PM during weekdays and 24 hours during weekends. Max 8 hours shift a day. Shifts will be rotated among 4 members team.
  • first month team will work with UK team for training and understanding customer needs. After training is complete the Pakistan team will start support for UK out of office hours.
