A UK based Chartered Certified Accountancy Practice providing accountancy, taxation and business support services to UK

The back office of the practice is located in Lahore and the opportunity has arisen as the business is growing and back-office team is expanding. The successful candidate will be joining the growing team in Pakistan. It’s a progressive role where a candidate will lead the team based in Pakistan and provide support to the UK team.

Qualification & Experience:

ICAP Chartered Accountant / ACCA or international equivalent qualifications
Exceptional candidates who are “Qualified by experience” may also apply
At least 5 years post qualification experience working as a practice manager / Accounts senior. Chartered Accountancy practice experience is a must.

Job Description:

As a practice manager you know you would be responsible for all areas of accounts and taxation as well as day to day management of the Pakistan office. Your job is to continue the professional work you have been doing so far in your career and take it to the next level.

Main responsibilities: -

Prepare and finalise financial statements of Sole traders, partnerships, Limited companies, according to the (UK GAAPs) and financial reporting standards for small and medium size enterprises. (FRS 105 & 102)
Corporation and personal tax returns according to UK legislation
Managing senior and junior team members
Draft letters and other correspondence with HMRC
Improving the existing systems and processes
