We are hiring Product Technical Engineers for our Chinese Telecom Client (𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫, 𝐌𝐢𝐝-𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲-𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥) for Optical Network team. The role involves working on optical products like 𝐃𝐖𝐃𝐌, 𝐒𝐃𝐇, 𝐌𝐒𝐓𝐏, 𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐒, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐌𝐒, contributing to transmission network projects for medium to large scale networks.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫-𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥:
- Take full ownership of the design, testing, and verification of optical systems.
- Lead network integration, commissioning, service migration, and commercial assurance.
- Act as a Project Technical Lead (𝐓𝐃/𝐓𝐋) or subject matter expert for complex solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical network issues.Guide project teams to deliver large scale network solutions efficiently.
𝐌𝐢𝐝-𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 & 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲-𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥:
- Assist with or manage integration design, testing, and verification tasks.
- Perform equipment commissioning, service migration, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot issues related to network construction, capacity expansion, and system swapping.
- Complete delivery tasks as a core project member, maintaining efficiency and quality.
- Document and summarize findings to improve processes.
𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒓-𝑳𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- At least 4+ years of experience with different companies optical networks in medium to large scale projects.
𝑴𝒊𝒅-𝑳𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍:
- College degree in Communications, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1+ years experience in medium scale network projects.
𝑬𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒚-𝑳𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Strong academic understanding of optical networks; no experience required.
𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Proficiency in 𝐃𝐖𝐃𝐌, 𝐒𝐃𝐇, 𝐌𝐒𝐓𝐏, 𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐒, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐌𝐒 technologies.
- Knowledge of optical network protection, ASON, MPLS, and related data technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and risk management skills.
- Effective project management and problem solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for customer and team interactions.
- Ability to collaborate in cross functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel overseas and work under tight deadlines, including emergencies.
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞):
- Experience in optical network technologies.
- Python proficiency for automation.
- Leadership skills (senior roles).
