Read blueprints or technical diagrams to understand wiring systems.
Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues.
Design and install indoor and outdoor electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Perform minor repairs to electrical systems and equipment.
Alter and repair wiring, electrical devices, machinery, and equipment as necessary.
Ensure all installations meet local electrical codes and safety regulations.
