Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe working environment that complies with Coats Health and Safety policies.
- Promote a culture of “Doing the Right Thing” through all forms of communication and actions in the area of responsibility.
- Analyse production targets and determine the requirement of machinery and work force accordingly.
- Take necessary steps for cost/time effective implementation of budget.
- Organize and appoint work force and supervisory staff for the budgeted production.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding product's quality/service and installation of machinery.
- Coordinate with CTC in order to understand and implement colour systems leading to cluster wide CF2000E functionality.
- Liaise with Sales in order to understand customer's needs: both stated and implied.
- Coordinate with Karachi dye house and finishing departments to standardize products, processes and systems.
- Train shift managers/shift executives and plant operators for achievement of key performance indicators.
- Recommend improvements and development in products, processes and systems.
- Supervision in respect of quality production, engineering affairs, systems and methods, discipline of the departments, effective utilization of management and non-management staff, implementation of company's quality management system, quality policy and other general rules and regulations.
