Key Responsibilities

Feasibility studies:

Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies for the WASH engineering project,
Evaluate project viability from technical, economic, and environmental perspectives.

Design and estimation:

Develop detailed design plans and technical specifications for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene
Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of Quantities (BOQs) for all projects.
Assess vendor bids against BOQs and relevant experience to ensure informed procurement decisions

Project Implementation & Oversight:

Supervise the technical and engineering-related aspects of the project.
Ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring progress aligns with the established targets.
Implement quality control measures to maintain high project standards.
identify and address potential risks proactively throughout the project lifecycle

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare regular progress reports detailing project activities, milestones, challenges, and achievements.
Collaborate with Program Managers (and provide ongoing updates on design, estimation, and project progress.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation for reference and audits.

Any Other Tasks assigned

Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Project Manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
Civil Engineering
Environmental Engineering
Water Resources Engineering
Mechanical Engineering (with a focus on water and sanitation systems)
Public Health Engineering
