We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager with a strong background in supporting the US market remotely. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of US labor laws, HR compliance, employee relations, and industry best practices. This role aims to enhance the HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and HR operations, all aligned with US business standards. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership to ensure HR strategies effectively support organizational goals while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end HR operations tailored specifically for the US market, ensuring adherence to all relevant federal and state labor laws, including FMLA, FLSA, and EEO regulations. Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with US employment standards. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, focusing on remote hiring across multiple US locations, including onboarding and orientation. Provide expert guidance on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes to foster a positive work environment. Oversee performance management systems and support employee career development initiatives. Administer employee benefits and coordinate payroll activities in collaboration with the finance and payroll teams. Manage leave processes and maintain accurate records. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace culture. Collaborate with senior leadership on organizational development and change management strategies. Utilize HRIS and other digital tools to maintain employee data integrity and generate meaningful HR analytics and reports.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required, with a Master’s degree preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of HR experience, including at least three years focused on the US market. A strong understanding of US HR practices, compliance requirements, and employment law is essential. Proven experience working with remote and distributed teams across various US states or locations is required. Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Paychex, BambooHR, Workday, or Gusto is necessary, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities are critical for success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR are highly desirable. This is a full-time, onsite position located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 4. The role follows a night shift schedule from 6:30 pm to 3:30 am. The salary range for this position is between 250,000 to 300,000 PKR.
