Gatron Industries Limited, a well-established manufacturing company operating throughout Pakistan, is looking to hire an Industrial Relation Executive (Assistant Manager) for its plant located in HUB Chowki. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering positive and productive relationships between management, employees, and labor unions. This position involves managing employee grievances, ensuring compliance with labor laws, facilitating negotiations, and implementing policies that support a healthy and collaborative work environment aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain harmonious relationships among management, employees, and labor unions to promote a cooperative workplace culture.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, ensuring timely and fair resolution in line with company policies.
- Ensure company policies and procedures comply with current labor laws and regulations; keep abreast of legal updates and advise management on necessary adjustments.
- Conduct disciplinary proceedings, including investigations, hearings, and proper documentation.
- Prepare and submit mandatory reports to government authorities, such as labor welfare and safety reports.
- Facilitate collective bargaining processes and negotiate agreements with labor unions.
- Organize and manage union meetings, including preparing agendas and documenting outcomes.
- Mediate disputes between employees, supervisors, and unions to maintain a peaceful and productive working environment.
- Proactively identify potential conflict areas and implement preventive measures to avoid escalation.
- Assist in drafting, revising, and enforcing HR policies related to industrial relations.
- Communicate policies effectively to employees and stakeholders to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Organize training sessions focused on labor laws, workplace ethics, and employee rights.
- Promote awareness of organizational values and employee responsibilities to enhance engagement and morale.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial relations within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations best practices.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
