To oversee warehouse operations, parts inventory management, and production planning for mobile phone assembly, ensuring efficient workflows, accurate parts data, and timely fulfillment of production goals. Lead a team of three warehouse staff to maintain organization, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Management
Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching mobile phone components and finished products.
Ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels using inventory management software (e.g., ERP, WMS).
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse compliant with health and safety regulations.
2. Parts Inventory & Data Management
Monitor and update parts inventory records (e.g., screws, screens, batteries, circuit boards) to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of components.
Analyze parts usage data to forecast demand and optimize inventory turnover.
3. Production Planning
Develop and manage production schedules for mobile phone assembly, aligning with sales forecasts and delivery deadlines.
Collaborate with assembly line supervisors to ensure parts availability and resolve bottlenecks.
Track production output and adjust plans to meet targets.
4. Staff Management
Lead, train, and evaluate three warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to processes and safety protocols.
Assign tasks (e.g., picking, packing, cycle counts) and monitor productivity.
Foster a team-oriented environment focused on efficiency and accuracy.
5. Reporting & Compliance
Generate weekly/monthly reports on inventory accuracy, production progress, and warehouse performance.
Ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO) and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Education: Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
3+ years in warehouse management, preferably in electronics manufacturing or mobile phone assembly.
Experience with production planning and inventory control systems (e.g., ERP, MRP).
Proven ability to manage small teams.
Skills:
Proficiency in inventory , Excel).
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma (a plus).
Ability to read production schematics/BOMs (Bill of Materials).
