We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting sensitive financial data and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of information security principles and best practices, especially within the fintech or financial services sectors. Your primary focus will be on safeguarding digital assets from unauthorized access and breaches. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing detailed security reports, updating incident response plans, and educating employees on security awareness to maintain a strong security culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities, with an emphasis on protecting sensitive financial information.
- Perform regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and ISO 27017.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement security controls that mitigate cyber risks and protect organizational systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans to effectively manage and minimize the impact of security breaches.
- Oversee third-party vendor security compliance to reduce external risks.
- Lead security awareness training programs to promote a culture of security consciousness among employees.
- Support the deployment and management of security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including firewalls, network security, information assurance, Linux, UNIX, SIEM, application security, security engineering, and security architecture.
- Proficiency in ethical hacking techniques to identify vulnerabilities and defend against cyber threats.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in information security roles, with a focus on security analysis and incident response.
- Proven ability to conduct penetration tests on various systems and applications to identify security weaknesses.
- Excellent analytical skills for assessing and mitigating security risks.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience working in Linux environments.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
