Intermediate Website Developer (WordPress, Woo Commerce, Shopify)

Unilakes Technologies Pty Ltd., a digital transformation company specializing in scalable website development, eCommerce, automation, analytics, and third-party integrations, is looking for an Intermediate Website Developer with strong skills in WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify. This full-time remote role requires a fixed daily schedule of 7 to 8 hours, including a one-hour break. The successful candidate will work on a variety of client projects, building and maintaining functional websites, managing eCommerce configurations, integrating third-party tools, and troubleshooting both front-end and back-end issues to deliver customized digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain websites using WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify platforms. Customize themes and perform light to moderate coding using HTML, CSS, and PHP. Configure WooCommerce shipping rules, payment gateways, and store logic to meet client requirements. Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, layout inconsistencies, and website performance issues to ensure smooth operation. Document technical solutions, fixes, and workflows to support internal knowledge sharing. Collaborate effectively with internal teams and maintain professional communication with clients throughout project lifecycles.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience with WordPress and WooCommerce development. Practical knowledge of Shopify store setup and theme customization is essential. Familiarity with web hosting environments, including cPanel, DNS management, and SSL configuration, is required. Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, are necessary to interact with clients and team members. A forward-thinking, problem-solving mindset with the ability to clearly document technical processes is important. Candidates must be available to work a fixed schedule of 7 to 8 hours daily, including a one-hour break. A bachelor’s degree is mandatory for this position.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with Zoho One applications such as Zoho Bookings and Zoho Forms is advantageous. Familiarity with popular page builders like Elementor and Divi will be beneficial. An understanding of UI/UX principles and tools such as Figma is a plus. Basic knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, is preferred. The company offers a confirmed salary increment upon successful completion of the probation period.
