Paired, a global staffing and recruiting agency specializing in remote work placements, is collaborating with a U.S.-based beauty shower product company to recruit an experienced Inventory & Supply Chain Manager. This role is vital to ensuring smooth supply chain operations and effective inventory management from start to finish. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, preventing over-ordering, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can manage systems, communication, and critical decision-making processes that support efficient business operations behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels across all SKUs, sales channels, and warehouses accurately and in real time.
- Forecast demand by analyzing sales data, marketing insights, and subscription trends to anticipate inventory needs.
- Identify and communicate potential inventory risks early to prevent stockouts.
- Manage purchase orders, timelines, and maintain clear communication with suppliers.
- Coordinate production activities with factories in China and oversee progress through to completion.
- Handle freight forwarding, customs clearance, and third-party logistics (3PL) to ensure timely delivery without delays.
- Maintain and optimize the SKU library, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and all relevant product documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Experience (CX) and Growth teams to align inventory with upcoming marketing campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in supply chain or inventory management within e-commerce (eCom), direct-to-consumer (DTC), or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries.
- Proven experience working directly with manufacturers and suppliers based in China.
- Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of demand planning, purchase order systems, and 3PL logistics operations.
- Highly organized, dependable, and forward-thinking with exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with inventory management and supply chain tools such as Inventory Planner, NetSuite, ShipHero, or similar platforms is advantageous.
