Develop, review, and update curriculum materials for Computing courses, ensuring alignment with industry trends and academic standards.
Deliver engaging and informative lectures on various computing topics to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
Utilize diverse teaching methodologies to accommodate different learning styles.
Design, administer, and evaluate assessments to measure student understanding and progress.
Provide constructive feedback to support student academic development
and integrate real-world examples, case studies, and industry practices into lectures to enhance the practical relevance of the curriculum.
Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, assisting them in academic and career development.
Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across disciplines to foster an interdisciplinary learning environment.
Stay updated on advancements in computing technologies and integrate relevant tools and applications into the curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, effectively managing classroom dynamics and encouraging student participation.
Hold regular office hours to provide additional support and consultation for students seeking clarification or assistance with coursework
Undertaking the external verification process for HND and International foundation year programs.
Handling the semester planning and student records.
Collaborating with the student support officer in managing program time tables.
Managing the data on CMS for the respective programs.
