IT Networking Professional

We are seeking a committed IT Networking Professional to join our IT Infrastructure team based in DHA Phase 8, Lahore. The ideal candidate will have between 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in IT networking, with strong capabilities in office computer maintenance, hardware troubleshooting, and network support. This role requires working the night shift from 6:30 PM to 2:30 AM, making it suitable for individuals comfortable with late hours and dedicated to ensuring uninterrupted IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and associated hardware components.
- Provide comprehensive desktop and system support, including software installations, upgrades, and issue resolution.
- Ensure the proper functioning of office computer systems, printers, and other IT assets.
- Conduct routine system and network health checks, including performance tuning and optimization.
- Set up, configure, and support network equipment and cabling across various departments and users.
- Perform regular data backups and manage system access and security protocols to safeguard information.
- Respond promptly to IT service desk tickets, resolving user issues efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and inventory records.

Required Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of practical experience in IT networking and system support.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
- Proficiency in computer hardware maintenance, system imaging, and software installation processes.
- Familiarity with Windows environments, Active Directory, and troubleshooting common office devices.
- Ability to work independently during the night shift (6:30 PM to 2:30 AM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or MCSA will be considered an advantage.
- Experience working in managed IT service environments or BPO/Tech support roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools and remote desktop utilities is a plus.
- This is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive monthly salary range of Rs70,000 to Rs75,000.
