IT Technician

ABS INTERNATIONAL is looking for a motivated IT Support Technician to join our team in Karachi, working on-site at our Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Gulistan-e-Johar offices. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring that hardware, software, and network systems operate efficiently across multiple locations. This position demands hands-on experience with Windows environments, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a proactive mindset toward IT security and system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, and peripherals to align with organizational requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity promptly.
- Implement security measures and perform regular system backups to safeguard data integrity.
- Provide both deskside and remote technical support to staff members across different office locations.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation and effectively manage the inventory of IT assets.

Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of practical experience in IT support or a related role.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Office 365 applications.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to travel between the Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Gulistan-e-Johar offices as required.
