X-ray Technician

. The X-ray Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and a solid understanding of radiation safety protocols.Key Responsibilities:Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety.Accurately .Follow physician orders for imaging studies and maintain proper documentation.Maintain radiographic equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.Adhere to safety standards and radiation protection protocols.Develop X-ray films or process digital images and ensure image clarity.Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.Keep accurate records of procedures performed and patient information.Assist with other clinical tasks as needed under supervision.Qualifications:Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.Current certification with theAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)or equivalent.State license (if required by the state of practice).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
