Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting, tax compliance (particularly USA taxation), and financial analysis. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide actionable financial insights to support business growth and profitability while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive financial reporting processes, including budgeting and forecasting, to support organizational planning and decision-making.
- Ensure precise cost accounting and conduct thorough financial analyses aimed at optimizing costs and enhancing profitability.
- Oversee the management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger to maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle Sales Tax, Local Taxation, Rebate, and Return Filing, ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Maintain compliance with USA Taxation laws, including timely reporting and filing obligations, to avoid penalties and ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and financial statements in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison with tax authorities and external auditors, facilitating audits and ensuring transparent communication for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Develop and maintain costing models to accurately track manufacturing expenses and support effective pricing strategies.
- Implement and monitor internal controls designed to mitigate financial risks and prevent fraud within the organization.
- Conduct variance analysis on production costs, overheads, and overall profitability to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide detailed financial insights and recommendations to senior management to aid strategic business decisions.
- Monitor cash flow, manage investments, and oversee working capital to maintain financial stability and operational efficiency.
- Support external audits, tax assessments, and regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring all documentation and processes are audit-ready.
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Sales Tax & Rebate Management, USA Taxation & Compliance, Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting, Local Taxation, and Return Filing.
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), taxation laws, and financial regulations relevant to manufacturing and corporate finance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex financial data and drive improvements.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and liaising with external stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all financial reporting and compliance activities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
