Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Specialist to focus on identifying and securing mobile app development projects on Upwork. The ideal candidate will excel at crafting customized, persuasive proposals that align with client requirements, maintaining consistent communication, and managing a robust pipeline of leads. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong market insight and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure project success from proposal to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and actively bid on mobile app development projects on Upwork, targeting opportunities that align with company strengths and growth objectives.
- Develop tailored, high-converting proposals that address specific client needs and demonstrate a clear understanding of project requirements.
- Maintain ongoing communication with potential clients, ensuring timely follow-ups to nurture leads and move opportunities forward.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to gather detailed project information, ensuring proposals accurately reflect technical capabilities and deliverables.
- Build and manage a pipeline of leads and business opportunities to support sustained revenue growth.
- Conduct market research to analyze trends and competitor activities, using insights to refine bidding strategies and improve win rates.
- Optimize and maintain the company’s Upwork profile to enhance visibility, credibility, and attractiveness to prospective clients.

Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to identify and bid on high-potential Shopify and WordPress projects, with a strong focus on mobile app development.
- Solid understanding of iOS, Android, and cross-platform mobile technologies, enabling effective communication of technical aspects in proposals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and engage clients professionally.
- Experience in client relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals to secure new business.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while consistently meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Proficiency in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator for sourcing leads and establishing connections with potential clients.
- Familiarity with Upwork’s algorithms, profile optimization techniques, and job filtering strategies is advantageous.
