Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our institutional sales efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities, building and nurturing strong relationships with institutional clients, and ensuring that sales targets are consistently achieved. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all sales activities related to institutional clients, ensuring a strategic approach to client acquisition and retention.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key institutional clients, acting as the primary point of contact to understand and meet their needs.
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales targets through effective planning and execution of sales strategies.
- Conduct regular client visits to strengthen relationships, address concerns, and identify new business opportunities.
- Oversee the management of client accounts, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of any issues to maintain high client satisfaction.
- Handle government tender applications from preparation through to submission and execution, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
- Deliver excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction and foster loyalty, contributing to client retention and repeat business.
- Demonstrate strong institutional sales capabilities, including the ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage clients and internal stakeholders clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts with company objectives and support overall business growth.
- Work independently when required, managing time and priorities efficiently to meet deadlines and targets.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in institutional sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of building rapport and influencing decision-makers.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and maintain long-term relationships.
- Experience in handling government tenders, including application and execution processes.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
