Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Loan Operations Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on the accurate review and verification of loan documentation across Home, Auto, and SME (Loan Against Property) products. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless loan disbursals, manage servicing requests efficiently, and maintain strict compliance with internal policies and fraud prevention measures. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to support various operational and reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify loan documentation for Home, Auto, and SME loan products, ensuring all paperwork is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory and company standards.
- Execute loan disbursals promptly and update loan management systems with precision to reflect the latest transaction status.
- Handle servicing requests such as loan settlements, insurance policy changes, and contract amendments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Maintain and regularly update documentation checklists to track loan files, identify discrepancies, and proactively follow up with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Assist in General Ledger (GL) reconciliations to ensure financial records align with loan transactions and support month-end closing activities.
- Contribute to Management Information System (MIS) reporting by compiling accurate data and generating reports for internal and external use.
- Track insurance policies linked to loans, ensuring coverage is current and any changes are documented and communicated effectively.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades or new implementations, providing feedback to improve operational workflows.
- Uphold high standards of accuracy and compliance by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and implementing fraud prevention protocols to safeguard company assets and customer information.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in loan operations, loan processing, or a related financial services role, preferably involving Home, Auto, or SME loans.
- Strong knowledge of loan documentation requirements and financial product servicing.
- Proficiency in loan management systems and MS Office applications, particularly Excel for reporting and reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
- Good understanding of financial controls, SOPs, and fraud prevention techniques.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
