Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Specialist to join our talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting top talent by collaborating closely with internal departments to understand hiring needs and developing effective recruitment strategies. This role requires managing the entire hiring lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and supporting strategic workforce planning. The successful candidate will be adept at using various recruitment platforms and tools, ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring process aligned with the company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal departments to accurately identify and define recruitment needs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Establish clear selection criteria, hiring profiles, and job requirements for all vacant positions to attract the most suitable candidates.
- Source potential candidates through multiple channels including the company’s online career portal, external recruitment websites, job boards, social media platforms, and, when necessary, traditional methods such as print media, posters, and flyers.
- Manage the end-to-end hiring process using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to streamline candidate management and communication.
- Review and evaluate incoming applications, conduct initial candidate screenings via phone or email, and facilitate pre-interview assessments to shortlist qualified applicants.
- Develop tailored interview questions and conduct interviews either in person or through video conferencing platforms, ensuring a thorough assessment of candidates’ skills and cultural fit.
- Prepare hiring forecasts to support the company’s strategic workforce planning and anticipate future recruitment needs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of recruitment processes and build positive relationships with potential candidates and previous applicants to enhance the company’s talent pool.
- Continuously develop and refine hiring strategies and procedures by staying informed about industry trends and advancements in recruitment practices.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within a corporate or agency setting.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate evaluation.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems and various online recruitment platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal stakeholders and candidates.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to document processes and maintain candidate records accurately.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to forecast hiring needs and develop recruitment plans accordingly.
