Junior IT Project Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support our project management office (PMO) by ensuring data integrity, managing documentation, and overseeing the lifecycle of small projects. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product delivery, within a matrix organization. The ideal candidate will excel at maintaining project schedules, coordinating activities, and delivering high-quality reports to executive management, all while driving process improvements and maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure data quality in JIRA by reviewing updates, following up with project team members, and providing necessary support.
- Perform accurate JIRA data entries and updates to keep project information current.
- Develop executive management reports based on provided content, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Conduct thorough project audits focused on documentation deliverables and quality, adhering to PMO guidelines and standards.
- Review, maintain, and update project documentation repositories to ensure accessibility and accuracy.
- Manage the full lifecycle of small projects from post-contract signature through post-implementation, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, quality control, cost management, and change control.
- Plan and coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with various teams, including customer project members, to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Track project activities rigorously to guarantee on-time completion and proactively identify potential delays or deviations.
- Partner with project managers to support project tracking and document control functions.
- Regularly monitor project schedules and prepare status updates such as dashboards and status reports; lead project review meetings.
- Work closely with project teams on staffing, task allocation, standardization, and continuous process improvements.
- Provide constructive feedback to technical team leads regarding project team performance.
- Deliver excellent customer service by managing expectations and fostering positive relationships.

Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in JIRA, with the ability to manage data entries, updates, and reporting effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with a results-driven, get-things-done attitude.
- Strong analytical skills to assess project data and identify trends or issues.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
