Software Engineer- D365 Development

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics AX Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience customizing and developing within the Microsoft Dynamics AX environment, with strong expertise in X++, SSRS, and .NET technologies. This role involves designing and developing customized forms, reports, and applications that integrate seamlessly with Microsoft Dynamics AX, while optimizing database performance and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
- Customize Microsoft Dynamics AX forms to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Dynamics AX reports using SSRS and X++ to provide accurate and timely business insights.
- Design and develop .NET applications that integrate effectively with Microsoft Dynamics AX, ensuring smooth data flow and functionality.
- Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views to support application performance and reporting needs.
- Utilize Microsoft Visual Studio as the primary development environment for coding, debugging, and deploying solutions.
- Manage source code using version control systems such as Visual SourceSafe (VSS) and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement ERP business processes.
- Continuously improve existing applications and reports by identifying areas for optimization and enhancement.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in X++ customization and development within Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Strong skills in SSRS report development and/or X++ report creation.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET framework for application development and integration.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including expertise in writing and optimizing stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visual Studio development environment.
- Familiarity with source code management tools such as VSS and/or TFS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
- Experience with object-oriented analysis, design, and development methodologies.
- Background in ERP business analysis, design, and implementation is essential.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
