Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Control Systems Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical and control system drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD tools, with a focus on producing high-quality schematics, system topologies, and power distribution layouts. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive Electrical and Control System Drawings that meet project specifications and client requirements.
- Develop detailed System Topologies and Communication Drawings to illustrate system architecture and connectivity.
- Create Electrical Schematic Drawings and Terminations, ensuring clarity and accuracy for installation and troubleshooting.
- Design Instrument Loop Hook-ups to support instrumentation and control system integration.
- Produce Power Distribution Drawings that clearly define electrical power flow and distribution networks.
- Maintain and update engineering documentation, tracking all design changes to ensure version control and project consistency.
- Ensure all drawings and designs comply with established drafting standards and client-specific guidelines.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other CAD software proficiently to deliver precise and professional design outputs.
- Apply advanced design skills with meticulous attention to detail to minimize errors and enhance project quality.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in preparing electrical and control system drawings within an engineering environment.
