Network Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, high-availability network infrastructure solutions within enterprise and data center environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience configuring and maintaining firewall platforms, designing complex Layer 2/3 networks, and deploying advanced technologies such as VXLAN EVPN fabrics and SD-WAN. This role requires a proactive approach to network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and secure connectivity across distributed environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure network infrastructures that ensure high availability and resilience.
- Configure and maintain firewall platforms including Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet FortiGate, Cisco ASA, and other industry-standard solutions.
- Develop and enforce network security policies encompassing firewall rules, VPN configurations, NAT, and access control mechanisms.
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks utilizing VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), OSPF, BGP, and static routing protocols.
- Deploy and support VXLAN EVPN-based fabric networks tailored for enterprise and data center environments, enhancing scalability and segmentation.
- Design and implement SD-WAN solutions to optimize distributed enterprise connectivity and improve application performance.
- Deploy and maintain enterprise wireless LAN (WLAN) networks, ensuring seamless integration with wired infrastructure and security frameworks.
- Perform detailed network troubleshooting using packet captures, diagnostic tools, and log analysis across multi-vendor environments.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including topology diagrams and operational runbooks, to support ongoing operations and audits.
- Monitor network performance proactively, identifying potential issues or capacity constraints and implementing timely resolutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams during new network deployments, upgrades, and security enhancements to align with organizational goals.

Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with firewall platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet FortiGate, Cisco ASA, or similar technologies.
- Proficiency in routing and switching protocols including OSPF, BGP, STP, VLANs, and static routing.
- Demonstrated experience deploying or supporting VXLAN EVPN-based fabric networks in enterprise or data center settings.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies, including Cisco SD-WAN, Fortinet SD-WAN, or equivalent solutions.
- Strong skills in configuring and managing enterprise WLAN environments, ensuring secure and reliable wireless connectivity.
- Excellent network troubleshooting and analytical abilities across complex, multi-vendor network topologies.
- Ability to support both data center and enterprise network infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance and security.
