Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Payment Solutions Specialist to lead the delivery of innovative payment applications within scope, budget, and timeline. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management, and client engagement to develop, deploy, and optimize payment solutions including card issuing, merchant acquiring, and third-party processing services. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless integration with banking platforms, maintain high-quality standards, and provide expert guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of payment solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Adhere to enterprise project management frameworks and technology best practices to maintain consistency and quality.
- Coordinate software development efforts for custom client solutions, facilitating smooth deployment with minimal operational disruption.
- Conduct thorough testing and review of solutions to verify quality, completeness, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable technology solutions tailored for payment processing.
- Ensure seamless integration of payment systems with banking platforms and third-party services, optimizing for reliability and scalability.
- Analyze business processes, current systems, and future client needs to inform solution design and implementation.
- Document detailed client requirements and maintain comprehensive technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), advising on application deployment, integration strategies, and necessary modifications.
- Deliver client presentations and demonstrations to showcase potential solutions and gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Customize and implement application solutions aligned with client needs and product roadmaps.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot application issues, and perform sanity testing to validate software functionality.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features seamlessly and ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Conduct end-user training sessions to facilitate effective application usage.
- Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends within the payments domain and application delivery.
- Work closely with product owners, security, compliance teams, developers, and clients to define and implement robust solutions.
- Communicate technical solutions clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor and share knowledge with team members, contributing to continuous improvement and professional development.
- Actively participate in solution reviews and product roadmap discussions to influence future developments.
- Utilize knowledge of various software development life cycles, including waterfall, Agile, and other modern methodologies.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and excellent time management skills.
- Maintain familiarity with relevant programming languages and emerging technologies to support solution innovation.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering payment solutions involving card issuing, merchant acquiring, and third-party processing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles and project management best practices.
- Expertise in integrating payment systems with banking platforms and third-party services.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and present to clients.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, test, and optimize application performance.
- Experience working in Agile and waterfall environments.
- Ability to create detailed technical and client documentation.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams including product, security, compliance, and development.
