Job Summary
Noon Academy, a leading edtech platform serving over 12 million students and teachers across the Middle East and Pakistan, is seeking passionate and motivated interns for its Out Of School Children Enrollment Project. Following a successful $41 million Series B funding round, Noon is expanding its mission to revolutionize traditional classroom experiences by integrating social, group-based learning and AI technology. This project aims to identify and enroll children who are currently out of school into designated learning centers, ensuring they gain access to quality education. Interns will have the unique opportunity to contribute directly to community education initiatives and engage with Noon’s academic offerings in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
Interns will play a vital role in community outreach efforts, including conducting door-to-door campaigns to identify out-of-school children within assigned areas. Building strong relationships with families and guardians is essential to advocate for children’s education and facilitate their enrollment into learning centers. Collaboration with local stakeholders such as schools and community leaders is required to support and streamline the enrollment process.
Additionally, interns will scout and interview local facilitators to develop a shortlist of candidates for project involvement. They will organize and participate in awareness campaigns and events that promote education access within the community. Maintaining accurate records of outreach activities, meetings, and enrolled students is critical to track progress.
Interns will also oversee construction work related to learning centers, ensuring that development aligns with project timelines and plans. Monitoring school activities to confirm that classes operate according to the learning team’s shared plan is another key responsibility. Furthermore, interns will address complex issues related to student documentation, retention, and billing. Supporting the team in monitoring and evaluating the overall impact of the project is an important part of the role.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have completed or be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to effectively engage with diverse communities and build trust with families and local stakeholders. A proactive attitude combined with excellent problem-solving abilities will help interns navigate challenges encountered during outreach and enrollment activities. Familiarity with the local area and its communities is advantageous and will support more effective engagement.
