Procurement Officer

Job Summary
Comtanix, a fast-growing IT company based in Bahria Town, Phase 8, Rawalpindi, is looking for a skilled Procurement Officer to join our team. This full-time position requires working night shifts from 7 PM to 4 AM on-site. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills in English, a solid grasp of finance and procurement processes, and the ability to contribute effectively to procurement operations. The role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs70,000.

Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing contract reporting and ensuring strict compliance with vendor agreements. You will oversee vendor payments while maintaining adherence to all compliance standards. Tracking purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services is a critical part of this role. You will prepare detailed purchase reports, including cost analyses, to support management decision-making.

Generating and processing purchase orders promptly is essential to maintain smooth procurement activities. Additionally, you will create invoices for daily receipts to facilitate timely fund management. Coordination with the sales department is necessary to align procurement activities with business requirements.

Maintaining accurate records of all procurement transactions and conducting regular audits on import and export files will be part of your duties. You will also perform market price checks and vendor evaluations to secure the best sourcing options. Verifying compliance with project specifications and reviewing data sheets for project-related items is expected.

Building and nurturing strong supplier relationships and negotiating contracts to benefit the company are key responsibilities. You may also be assigned additional duties by management or supervisors to support overall company objectives.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Strong analytical skills combined with excellent communication abilities are essential. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and ERP systems, is required. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across different organizational levels is important. Candidates must be willing and able to work night shifts as per the job schedule.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with revenue analysis, purchase order management, and contract administration will be advantageous. Familiarity with ERP configuration and QuickBooks Online is a plus.
