Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Tracking Officer to join our fleet operations team at Karachi Toll Plaza. This role is crucial for overseeing all fleet vehicles, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, and driving overall fleet productivity. The successful candidate will be instrumental in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) that enhance the efficiency and profitability of our fleet operations. Working closely with drivers and vendors, the Tracking Officer will proactively address operational challenges and support seamless fleet management.
Key Responsibilities
The Tracking Officer will be responsible for daily monitoring of all fleet vehicles, generating comprehensive reports, and distributing them promptly to customers. Collaboration with vendors is essential to ensure accurate tracking and reporting, including addressing any vehicles that are not currently reporting. The role involves consistent follow-up with drivers regarding speed violations, transit delays, and ensuring vehicles are available at both origin and destination points on time. Additionally, the officer will analyze in-transit vehicle data and replay logs to monitor operational hours, identify delays, and detect patterns that can be used to improve fleet performance continuously.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold at least a graduate degree. Prior experience in fleet management or a similar monitoring role is preferred to ensure familiarity with the operational demands of the position. A strong attention to detail is critical for maintaining accurate and comprehensive reports. Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective coordination with both vendors and drivers. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and consistently meet deadlines is essential. Proficiency in fleet management software or related tools is required. Furthermore, candidates should have a basic understanding of KPIs related to fleet operations and how these metrics impact overall business profitability.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and candidates with at least one year of experience in fleet operations tracking will be given priority.
