Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential partners such as acquirers and banks to establish robust business relationships within Pakistan. Negotiating and finalizing commercial partnerships and agreements will be key to supporting local payments processing for international merchants. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with internal teams across operations, product, and technology to integrate partnerships and align strategic roadmaps.

Analyzing performance metrics to optimize strategies and improve outcomes will be a continuous focus. You will also enhance operational capabilities for various payment methods, ensuring seamless service delivery. Monitoring local regulatory and licensing requirements is critical to maintain compliance and assess their impact on business operations.

Working alongside merchants and the commercial team, you will help develop key products tailored specifically to the local market. Maintaining and expanding your professional network by participating in industry events, conferences, and professional organizations is expected. Additionally, you will coordinate with local legal, accounting, and tax experts to ensure smooth, compliant operations and engage with regulators as needed to effectively navigate the regulatory environment.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have proven experience in payments or financial systems within Pakistan. A demonstrated track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and partnership development is essential. Strong negotiation skills with experience in executing contracts and agreements are required.

An established and relevant business network within the local market is necessary to drive growth. The ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and work effectively across multiple time zones is important. A deep understanding of Pakistan’s regulatory landscape and a strong commitment to compliance are critical for success.

Excellent teamwork skills are needed, with the ability to lead projects or contribute as a collaborative team member. We value a positive attitude, curiosity, and a proactive, self-starter mindset. Thorough knowledge of local market dynamics will enable you to make informed decisions and drive results.
