AIR TICKETING OFFICER

Job Summary
Gulf Star Services is looking for a dedicated and career-oriented Air Ticketing Staff member to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in travel and tourism, with proven experience in managing both domestic and international air ticketing. This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive starting salary of Rs45,000 per month, which will be adjusted based on the candidate’s experience and skill level. Key Responsibilities
The Air Ticketing Staff will be responsible for managing the entire air ticketing process for both domestic and international travel. This includes utilizing various travel software and Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre and Galileo to book and issue tickets accurately and efficiently. The role also involves handling hotel reservations through multiple hotel portals and booking engines, ensuring seamless travel arrangements for clients.

Staying informed about the latest developments and trends in the travel and tourism industry is essential to provide clients with up-to-date and relevant information. The candidate must maintain excellent presentation and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues alike. Strong organizational and time-management skills are required to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Additionally, the role demands creative problem-solving abilities to address booking challenges and respond to client inquiries promptly and satisfactorily. The Air Ticketing Staff will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience throughout the booking process.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have between 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in air ticketing and travel agency operations. Proficiency in travel software and GDS platforms, specifically Sabre and Galileo, is mandatory. A comprehensive understanding of both domestic and international ticketing procedures is essential to perform the role successfully.

Familiarity with hotel booking portals and engines is also required, alongside strong computer literacy to navigate various booking systems efficiently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are critical to facilitate smooth interactions with clients and team members. The ability to present information clearly and professionally is equally important.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
