Job Summary
The Patient Relations Officer / OPD Incharge will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Outpatient Department (OPD) to ensure a seamless and efficient patient experience. This role requires overseeing patient flow, handling inquiries and complaints, and maintaining clear communication between patients, doctors, and hospital staff. The officer will coordinate closely with multiple departments to streamline appointment scheduling, patient registration, and billing processes. Additionally, this position involves collaborating with the Marketing team to enhance patient engagement initiatives. The Patient Relations Officer will also train and supervise front desk and OPD personnel, ensuring that high standards of patient care and satisfaction are consistently met. Providing patients and their families with accurate information about hospital policies, procedures, and services is a key component of this role, along with promptly addressing any concerns raised.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily operations of the OPD to ensure smooth patient flow and operational efficiency.
- Professionally handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring concerns are resolved promptly.
- Maintain effective and clear communication channels between patients, doctors, and hospital staff to facilitate coordinated care.
- Oversee appointment scheduling, patient registration, and billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing department to support and implement patient engagement and outreach programs.
- Train, guide, and supervise front desk and OPD staff to maintain a high level of service quality.
- Uphold and promote high standards of patient care and satisfaction throughout the outpatient services.
- Act as a liaison between patients, their families, and clinical departments to ensure concerns are addressed effectively.
- Provide patients with comprehensive information regarding hospital policies, procedures, and available services to enhance their understanding and experience.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Sciences, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with outpatient operations and patient relations.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at Imran Idrees Teaching Hospital, Sialkot. Interested candidates are invited to submit their updated CVs to the HR Department by the application deadline of 23 June 2025.
