Job Summary
Hive Tech, a prominent provider of enterprise-grade power and IT infrastructure solutions in Pakistan, is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join its team based in Rawalpindi. This role focuses on driving sales of UPS systems, inverters, batteries, and related technologies, primarily targeting corporate clients and the industrial sector. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in technical sales within power systems or ICT sectors and demonstrate a strong passion for delivering customized solutions that meet client requirements. The position involves frequent travel across the northern region, including Punjab, KPK, and AJK.
Key Responsibilities
The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and nurturing strong relationships with corporate clients, system integrators, and industrial partners to expand business opportunities. This includes conducting site visits, technical surveys, and consultations to accurately assess client needs. The role requires proposing and delivering tailored power and IT infrastructure solutions, such as UPS systems, energy storage, and networking products.
Additionally, the candidate will prepare and present detailed proposals, technical presentations, and commercial offers to clients. Managing the entire sales lifecycle is essential—from lead generation and solution design to deal closure and after-sales support. Close collaboration with engineering and technical support teams is necessary to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of solutions. The Technical Sales Manager will also contribute to strategic sales planning and work towards achieving quarterly revenue targets.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline. A minimum of 3 to 6 years of technical sales experience in power systems, energy, or ICT sectors is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B solution selling, employing a consultative sales approach.
Strong technical knowledge of UPS systems, power backup design, and energy storage solutions is essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills are critical to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. The candidate must also be willing and able to travel frequently across the northern region for client meetings and site visits.
