Job Summary
Intercargo Logistics is a forward-thinking, technology-driven company specializing in innovative digital solutions for global logistics and freight services. We are currently seeking a Senior C# Developer to lead backend development efforts by designing and building intelligent, high-impact systems that will shape the future of logistics. This role requires working on robust, scalable backend systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize backend components and APIs, and integrating with external platforms while ensuring security, reliability, and high performance.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using C#, .NET Core, and .NET 6+. You will be responsible for building and integrating RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between various systems. Managing databases, primarily SQL Server or other relational database management systems, will be a key part of your role, including query development, performance tuning, and ensuring data integrity.

You will proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs to enhance the platform’s performance and scalability. Writing unit and integration tests to maintain code quality and reliability is essential. Collaboration is critical; you will work closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end features.

Creating and maintaining clear technical documentation for codebases, APIs, and backend systems will be expected. Additionally, mentoring junior developers by sharing best practices in code structure, architecture, and performance optimization is a vital part of this role. Staying current with new tools, frameworks, and industry trends and applying these improvements proactively will help keep our technology stack cutting-edge.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience with C# and .NET technologies. Strong expertise in .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET Web API, and RESTful API development is essential. A solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and SOLID design patterns is required.

Experience with version control systems such as Git and familiarity with unit testing frameworks like xUnit or NUnit is necessary. Exposure to microservices architecture and containerized environments, such as Docker, is expected. You should also have experience integrating third-party APIs and services and demonstrate excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities are important for effective collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is highly desirable. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices will be considered a plus. Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Angular or React is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and knowledge of messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus will further strengthen your application.

Additional Information
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Islamabad. The selected candidate will work alternate weekly shifts: one week from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and the following week from 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM. Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to Islamabad. Immediate availability is preferred due to urgent hiring needs.
