Job Summary

Cosmo Pharma, a prominent pharmaceutical company committed to delivering high-quality healthcare solutions, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join its finance team in Karachi. Key Responsibilities

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records by promptly recording all transactions and updating the general ledger accounts. Managing accounts receivable involves timely invoicing and efficient collection processes, while accounts payable duties include processing payments accurately and ensuring they are made on schedule.

A critical part of the role is performing bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data and investigate any discrepancies. The candidate will assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, generating reports, and analyzing financial data to provide actionable insights to management.

Ensuring compliance with tax regulations is essential. The Accounts Executive will support tax filing requirements, assist with tax return preparation, and help during audits. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the budgeting and forecasting process by helping develop annual budgets, monitoring budget performance, and conducting variance analysis to track financial progress.

Financial analysis is another key responsibility, where the candidate will identify opportunities for cost savings and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar accounting role is essential. A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices is required, along with proficiency in accounting software.

Attention to detail and accuracy are critical for success in this role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to collaborate effectively within the team and with other departments. The ability to work independently with a proactive mindset is highly valued.

Additional Information

This position is based in Gulshan-e-Iqbal 13-B, Karachi. Candidates should be able to commute reliably or plan to relocate to Karachi prior to starting employment. The salary range for this role is Rs40,000 to Rs50,000 per month.
